hows the demo performance for you all? I seem to get really choppy performance ingame and even in the editor.... 2 other friends in my college get the same thing.

Intel Core2 Due CPU T7500 @ 2.20GHz, 2.0GB RAM NVIDIA GeForce 8600M GT

its more than recommended right?

Hunter, I'm running an x5200, 8800 GTSOC with 320 mb ram, 4 Gbytes memory, WinXP 64 and seeing an average of 30 FPS or more on medium settings with 4x AA. You should be pretty close to that at least.

flameknight - you're on a laptop; even with a bitchin' graphics card (yours is no slouch) you're going to be straining performance-wise for Crysis. laptop tradeoffs in CPU design and general power consumption versus performance are going to something you butt up against regularly.

ATM im getting a steady 20fps in the demo, drops a bit as the action heats up. In SB2 i get a steady 35.

In sandbox go to the "config spec" tab and select "low" , thatll bump your fps.

ATM: P43.0 , 2gigs ddr400 , x800 pro

I'm close to that, with the AFF off. I'm running Vista Ultimate 64 though, so I have a little more resources hogged by the OS.

I haven't played the newest builds of the demo and MP Beta, I've been so busy or playing BF2. So I'm not sure what kind of performance I'm getting right now.

I'm trying to get through Bioshock so I can hook Seef up with the game, then it'll be all Crysis MP and ETQW, iwth a dash of BF2.

O yea, I forgot about the resolution of the screen I bumped it down to the lowest 800x 600 and it ran smoothly on medium. yet I'm still getting like 8 fps on the editor

Another new function that I have not known. yea I've tried it on my desktop and i get 40fps in a new map but 8 fps in the map "Shore". Now its time to test it on my laptop.
